How to prevent the sickness from coming back

You need to see ALL sickness as an enemy. That enemy is the Devil himself. We must treat the sickness with authority and firmness.

We do not treat the people as enemies! We LOVE them. But the only words that are coming out of our mouth must be according to the Bible.

If people say anything that are contrary to the Bible, we will with kind words lead them to the TRUTH. The Bible is the TRUTH.

Satan can always be defeated by our resistance to him.

James 4:7 (KJV)

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

The Greek word translated “resist” (antistete) literally means “take a stand against, oppose, or resist."

Resisting Satan means opposing him, turning away from him, and having nothing to do with him and the temptations to not believe the Bible.

NO is NO

Often times, we say “maybe” to sin and disease instead of no. This answer leaves the option open for us to say yes.

Saying “maybe” is not the way to resist Satan or his attacks.

No matter if his attacks come in the form of sin or disease.

Have you ever had a salesperson try to sell you something at your front door? Often times we don’t want hurt their feelings. So, instead of saying “no” we will tell them to come back later when our spouse is home. Guess what! Since we told the salesperson maybe, he or she will come back that same night to make the sell. Salespeople are persistent.

Can you see that if we say maybe to sin and disease, then our enemy, Satan, will keep coming back until we say no. To resist the Devil, we must say a firm “NO” and shut the door.

You may object by saying:

But after I got healed I suddenly feel pain again.

If this is the case, do this:

Tell the pain to leave in the same second you feel it.

Of course the Devil will try to tell you that you are not really healed. He will tell you things like he did to Eva in the Garden of Eden: Are you sure you got healed? You can feel the pain, right?

The Devil is a liar! Do not believe him.

instead of believing the Devil’s lie, believe the Word of God and say: “By his stripes I AM healed. Then command the Pain: GO NOW in Jesus name.

Do not get caught up playing defense with Satan. We stand back, hoping that he will leave us alone. We wait for him to make all of the moves.

We need to turn the tables and go after Satan. We must attack Satan when he attacks us.

When Jesus was being tempted by Satan in (Mt. 4:1-11), He stopped Satan cold in his tracks, by moving from defense to offense. He began to conquer Satan by the power and authority of God’s Word.

Satan said to Jesus, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”

Jesus answered, “It is written: Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.”

Then Satan took Jesus to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down. For it is written: He will command His angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.”

Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.”

Again Satan took Jesus to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you, if you will bow down and worship me.”

Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.”

Jesus resisted the Devil’s temptations because He used the power and authority of the Word of God. He turned from defense to offense. He went from being pursued to being the pursuer. He used the Word of God to attack Satan.

The Bible says in (Ephesians 6:7) that God’s Word is a sword that we are to use in combat.

It's the will of God to heal you
Healing in The New Testament

Jesus paid for it ALL

Jesus paid for ALL my sin and diseases, and there is NOTHING I can add to that. It's a FREE gift.

But if I want the blessing, power and healing flowing through MY LIFE from God, there is a price I must pay. But compare with not having it, it's a LIGHT BURDEN.

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:29-30
